W3C Markup Validator v0.7.3 released

W3CToday a maintenance release of the W3C Markup Validator is published by the W3C Quality Assurance Interest Group (W3C QA IG). It includes fixes, updates, and it adds an experimental API to interface the validator with other programs and services.

You can also install and use this Markup Validator offline, meaning on a local host or local network. For convenience use, ready-to-use binary packages for several Linux distributions like Fedora/Red Hat Linux, openSUSE Linux and Debian Linux do exist. See Source code availability for the W3C Markup Validator for further information about how to get these packages. As the latter page states, official openSUSE packages of the Markup Validator are public available here at sierkbornemann.de and at the official openSUSE software repository or its mirrors.
